New York, NY (October 31, 2010) – The winners of The 2010 Davey Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts today. Setlowe credits the creative work of web designer Lisbet Thoresen for the award. "I have five novels, each of which has at least three different American editions, plus editions in a dozen languages. Lisbet had the artistic talent to synergistically integrate a stack of cover illustrations, jacket flaps, and graphics." Designer Thoresen also reproduced the key reviews and interviews for each novel with the original newspaper and magazine typeface and logos to visually communicate their journalistic credibility.
One of the unique features of RichardSetlowe.com is a series of WRITING LESSONS based on Setlowe's years of teaching in the UCLA Extension Writers' Program. The illustrated on-line "lecture notes" key to excerpts of his novels to dramatize particular points.
Each of the five novels has a set of web pages that key to appropriate sites on Amazon.com, where readers can view additional reviews and readers' comments and buy both new and used editions of the books.
